Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Care Technician for our Health Center in Billings, MT. You will interview patients, record vital signs, prepare rooms, and perform CLIA-waived tests while assisting at the front desk and scheduling appointments.

The role requires BLS certification and an Associates degree or equivalent training in Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant programs, with prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current certification with hands-on training in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Experience in health center or doctor's office setting helpful.

Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Care Technician, you'll provide services to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Billings, MT. The scheduled hours are Monday 8:00am-5:00pm and Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned
