Job summary

Senior Helpers of Portage/Geauga seeks a Care Team Supervisor to work with Owners, Client Services Director and Care Team Manager, blending hands-on care with entry-level leadership. You will mentor caregivers, administer orientation, and oversee care plans to ensure exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include training, performing ADLs/IADLs during shifts, maintaining records, on-call rotations, and engaging in community marketing as needed. CNA/STNA required with 3+ years experience.

Qualifications

• CNA/STNA certification is required or current.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train both new and experienced caregivers to ensure consistency and high standards of care.
• Administer the Caregiver Orientation program and use the Center of Excellence to teach and test caregiver skills.
• Identify training needs based on performance trends and client feedback.
• Perform ADLs and IADLs for clients during open shifts and during transitions.
• Conduct caregiver/client introductions and ensure smooth transitions.
• Ensure that client care plans are followed and updated, with open communication to management.
• Maintain regular communication with caregivers and clients, including site visits.
• Be comfortable performing personal care with male and female clients.
• Work in a scheduled on-call rotation after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in marketing events as needed.
