Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is seeking a Care Team Senior at New Lodge, New Earswick, York, to lead the care and ancillary team during shifts. The role includes ensuring a safe, effective, and well-led service for residents aged 55+ in residential care.

You’ll work 35 hours per week on a permanent basis, with DBS clearance and a focus on compassionate, compliant care delivery in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in the delivery of care, especially with older people.
• Good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting, including safeguarding, incident reporting, medications management and health and safety.
• Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel.
• QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3)
• A great listener with excellent communication skills
• The ability to be decisive and remain calm under pressure.

About You
