Overview

Are you a compassionate leader seeking to make a meaningful difference? Beacon Specialized Living is looking for a Care Team Manager to oversee daily operations and support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure quality care, and promote independence among individuals served.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  1. Lead & Support: Supervise, train, and mentor staff to provide high-quality, person-centered care. Foster a positive and productive team environment.

  2. Ensure Quality Care: Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes personal growth and independence for individuals receiving services.

  3. Problem-Solve & Communicate: Work closely with clients, families, and team members to identify needs, address concerns, and develop care plans. Maintain open and clear communication to ensure the best outcomes.

  4. Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure policies, procedures, and state regulations are followed while maintaining accurate documentation, scheduling, and compliance records.

  5. Crisis Management & Advocacy: Respond to emergencies and behavioral challenges with professionalism and care, advocating for individuals' needs and well-being.

  6. Coordinate Services: Collaborate with medical professionals, therapists, and other service providers to develop and implement personalized care plans.

  7. Provide Transportation: When needed, transport individuals to appointments, activities, or community engagements.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience: Degree in human services preferred, or experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral challenges.
  • Leadership Skills: Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and handle challenges with empathy.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation: Must have a clean driving record.
  • Pass Background Checks: State background check and required state screenings.
