Job summary

Scripps Health in La Jolla invites you to join as a Care Team Assistant, a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour varied shift. You will be part of a compassionate team delivering patient care and supporting administration.

You will collaborate with care team members, assist with clerical tasks, patient logistics, equipment and supply handling, charge reconciliation, and daily living activities under clinician direction to ensure safe, organized care.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
• Support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.
