Job description

Looking for shifts in a small residential facility? Looking to move into or land your next position in the disability industry? Look no further.

29th April, 2025

We are looking for a Care Support Worker to join our supported accommodation team in our Fern River Facility (Wilson) on a casual basis.

With accommodation facilities for up to 10 residents living with neurological conditions (including MS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Motor Neurone, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke), MSWA offers an age-appropriate option for younger people who would otherwise be at risk of entering aged-care facilities due to their high care needs.

It allows our residents to maintain their privacy while promoting social interaction with fellow residents, staff, and visitors in a shared communal area. Additionally, it is designed to integrate with the local community and feel more like a home!

As a Care Support Worker, you’ll assist with personal care (including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene), domestic assistance (e.g., household chores and serving meals), medication assistance, and social support (such as community access).

So, are you ready to make a difference as a Care Support Worker? Keep reading because this role will not only make a huge difference to the lives of those living with neurological conditions but will also make a big difference to your life too.

Our ‘must haves’

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Provide First Aid certificate – less than 12 months old (we can assist if needed).

Our ‘nice to haves’

  • Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s Licence with no restrictions.
  • Experience in a care support worker role.
  • A positive attitude (it makes a huge difference!).
  • A Certificate III in a relevant discipline.
