VitaCare Living Mora is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home health care to clients in Mora, Minnesota. The role emphasizes companionship, basic medical tasks, light housekeeping, and adherence to care plans under RN supervision.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of HHA or caregiver experience, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Competenze

• Possess a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required
• Completion of home health aide training programs from community colleges is acceptable - CNA or CHHA is a bonus
• Over one year of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/home health aide, personal care aid, or nursing assistant for a home health agency, at patient homes, or care facilities settings is vital
• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills

• Maintain psychological and emotional support for patients and family members - provide quality companionship
• Complete basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, replacing bandages and dressings, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices
• Stay on top of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to laundry, bed making, vacuuming, etc.
• Implement care plans as directed by the case manager, and keep updated and accurate care records
• Assist patients in completing personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, shaving, etc.
• Administer Medications: Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake
• Resident Response: Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care
• Light Housekeeping: Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space
• Service Charting: Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards
• Assistance with ADLs: Support residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to each individual’s Client Service Plan, with a zero-tolerance policy for missed tasks

About this position

Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing, and we’re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients. Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly
