Job summary

Ivy Park at Huntington Beach, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Care Provider for all shifts (AM, PM, and NOC). The position offers a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, ensuring confidentiality and safety, and collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Training provided; must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while respecting dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Notify supervisor of any observed or suspected change in condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
