Job summary

ChenMed LLC seeks a Care Promoter 1, Early Embrace to support a physician-led care team delivering primary care. You will perform routine administrative and clinical tasks under direct physician supervision and communicate patient needs across clinicians, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The role includes assisting with exams, phlebotomy, medication administration, health coaching, and patient education. Some travel and weekend flexibility may be required as part of the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT or Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required; EMR experience preferred; experience with geriatrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists physicians during exams.
• Observes patient conditions and communicates needs to the care team.
• Performs basic clinical tasks under physician supervision and documents accurately.
• Administers medications and assists with phlebotomy and lab specimens.
• Performs duties to maintain supplies, sterile equipment, and OSHA standards.
• Calls in prescriptions with physician approval; uses ChenMed Rx for dispensing.
• Provides health coaching and follows up with coached patients weekly.
