Responsibilities:
  • Accountable and responsible for providing patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, following established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
  • Accurately report information to the registered nurse.
  • Assist with clerical responsibilities for assigned patients.
  • Be competent in considering patient population-specific age, developmental stages, and unique needs of the assigned population.
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality.
  • Adhere to all established HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Follow guidelines related to electronic records, charts, documents, reports, and other materials to ensure patient and family privacy and security.
  • Understand and respect the needs and expectations of patients and families to provide patient/family-centered care.
  • Use appropriate, courteous, respectful, unbiased verbal and written communication skills when interacting with patients, families, visitors, and team members.
Schedule:

Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
