Position Overview

Part time 7p-7a Care Partner on a 28-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit focusing on Cardiac Care and Renal Telemetry patients at the Magnet-designated Paulding campus.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred; current students in healthcare programs are encouraged to apply.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Strong foundation in patient care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, comfort measures, and basic patient care (ADLs, ambulation, vital signs).
  • Support the healthcare team under RN supervision, including performing advanced skills if trained (e.g., phlebotomy, dressing changes).
  • Participate in patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members using established communication techniques.
Additional Details
  • Must be able to perform under stressful conditions with compassion and professionalism.
  • Must be organized, dependable, and able to follow detailed directions.
  • Minimum age of hire is 16.
  • Required certifications include BLS; additional licenses may be preferred.
