Job summary

Kingsland Walk Senior Living is seeking caregivers to provide direct care to residents under supervision, assisting with daily activities and personal care. You will support mobility, safety, and meals while observing residents and reporting changes to nursing staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and compassionate communication with residents and families. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred; full-time and part-time shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
• Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
