Job summary

Artis Senior Living is hiring for a full-time Care Partner (CNA) on the 1st shift (6am-2pm) in New Jersey. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with every other weekend required.

The role emphasizes compassionate daily living assistance for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, including activities of daily living, documentation, and safety protocols. Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA certification if State requires it.
• Must be willing to fulfill continuing education credits as required by state.
• Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, etc.
• Assist with personal and household tasks, such as tidying rooms, errands, delivering mail/newspapers.
• Transport residents within the community to meals, enrichment activities, and other programs as needed.
• Ensure resident care plans are reviewed and followed consistently.
• Observe and report medical or behavioral changes to clinical staff and document changes.
• Respond to emergency calls and safety concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Uphold community safety policies and maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations.
