Job summary

Artis Senior Living of Mason, OH is seeking Care Partners (CNAs) to provide daily living assistance to residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia, helping preserve dignity and independence. This part-time role offers flexible 1st/2nd/3rd shift options with every-other weekend required, and a supportive team culture.

Starting pay is $17 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental and vision plans, paid holidays, 3 weeks PTO in year one, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide certification is preferred, but not required.
• Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
• Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• The Care Partner will provide assistance with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, etc.
• Assist with personal and household chores, such as tidying up room, errands, delivering mail and/or newspapers.
• Transport residents within the community to meals, enrichment activities, and other programs as needed.
• Ensure resident care plans are reviewed and followed consistently.
• Observe and monitor residents for behavioral changes and/or adverse reactions to medications or treatment plans and report to clinical staff.
• Respond to emergency calls and correct environment hazards in a timely, safe manner.
• Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality; adhere to infection prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations.
