Qualifications

CARE PARTNER/CAREGIVER

We are seeking the right individual to partner with our residents, helping them live purposeful lives and make the most of each day by providing excellent care and support. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to help each resident live meaningfully, and every team member plays a vital role in this mission. Operating in the western US, we are looking for a Care Partner/Caregiver to join our team. If you are beginning your career in seniors housing, have a passion for serving others, or have a background in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare, this could be a great opportunity. This position can be full-time or part-time and involves caring for residents through hands-on assistance and standby support as needed. Providing care involves addressing physical needs and offering emotional, psychological, and soulful support.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, positive, and self-motivated. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential, as interacting with seniors requires both. Becoming a caregiver is a rewarding first step toward a long-term career in healthcare. We seek compassionate, dedicated professionals who enjoy serving others and wish to develop leadership, clinical, business, and marketing skills.

Relevant Experience:

• Experience in assisted living or memory care communities
• Caregiving roles, volunteer work, or related jobs
• Hospitality or healthcare experience
• Customer service roles
• Multitasking experience
• Demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion
• Volunteer work with vulnerable groups

Qualifications:

1. At least 18 years old
2. Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid certification
3. Ability to obtain required caregiving license within the designated timeframe, if necessary
4. Current negative TB test
5. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
6. Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 lbs with assistance
7. Pass criminal background check
8. Effective time management and efficiency
9. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
10. Strong organizational and communication skills
11. Willingness to attend and incorporate training into your work

We offer competitive benefits, a voice in our organization, and opportunities for innovation. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.
