Arrow Senior Living in Olathe, KS is seeking a part-time Care Partner to support residents with daily living activities in a home-like environment. You will provide compassionate assistance, monitor safety, and help residents maintain dignity and independence.

Requirements include being at least 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, English communication, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and criminal background clearance.

Qualifications

• Be an empathetic advocate for residents and create human connections during vulnerable moments.
• Must communicate clearly with residents, families, and team.
• Ability to perform ADLs assistance and basic daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Support residents in moving, sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall when needed.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment and engage with the community.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You will have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You will possess computer skillsto be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
