Arrow Senior Living in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Care Partner for the 6pm-6am shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide empathetic care, and help create a warm, engaging environment for residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents and team.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active mobility for all-day standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and oral care.
• Create an inclusive, empathetic environment and build human connections with residents.
• Support residents with daily tasks and encourage engagement and participation.
• Observe changes in residents and report to supervisors as needed.

Position—Care Partner

Position Type: Full-Time

Care Partner pay range: $18 - $22.25 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Week 1: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday

Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

6:00pm to 6:00am

What are we looking for?

• You must be criminally cleared.
