Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Staunton, IL is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care for residents in daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. You will record care details and report changes to the team while engaging with residents and families in a compassionate, professional manner.

Requirements include being 21+, a high school diploma or equivalent with state-mandated training, and the ability to work well both as part of a team and

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver/Resident Assistant you will provide direct care assisting residents in their daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Additional tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in resident’s conditions, interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
