PAY RATE: $32.48 - $48.72 BASED ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCE + $4.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RELOCATION STIPEND IF MOVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM BLESSING HEALTH SYSTEM.

JOB SUMMARY:

This Registered Nurse acts as the primary liaison between the Emergency Department and the CareVision Center (Hub), Nursing, and support departments and in partnership with physicians to ensure accurate patient status and appropriate patient placement for effective, efficient patient-focused outcomes. Will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to improve patient throughput and LOS performance of the organization. The Emergency Department Clinical Care Manager (ED C3) will exhibit excellence in organizational skills when managing multiple tasks at one time, be successful in crisis management, assimilate information quickly to produce sound decisions and recognize situations that require immediate intervention. It will be necessary to maintain current knowledge of basic healthcare economics, trends and reimbursement methodologies and apply knowledge to daily practice and continually develop professionally and apply knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to each patient. Lastly, the ED C3 will demonstrate technical and clinical competence and serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff. There is no direct Patient Care assignment for the ED C3 this should be a ‘fixed role with replacement’ position.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

  1. Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree School of Nursing (BSN) or BSN obtained within 2 years of hire

PREFERRED:

  1. Minimum of 1 year acute care experience with the respective patient population within the last 5 years

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

  1. Possesses current State RN license.
