Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Bethesda, MD is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, promote safety and dignity, and build meaningful relationships. You will assist with ADLs, follow ISP, and engage residents through conversation and daily activities.

The role includes supporting dining, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating with families and care leaders. Training is provided, with opportunities for career growth and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss
