Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Mt. Vernon, NY is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care. You will follow ISP, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents through conversation and activities.

You will support dining services, maintain a welcoming environment, and communicate with families and care leaders. CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it is required, and 18+ age requirement applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
