Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in the New York area to provide hands-on support with daily activities, promote safety and independence, and engage residents through conversation and meaningful activities.

As part of our team, you’ll follow individualized plans, assist dining and personal care, and communicate clearly with families and care leaders. We offer paid training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences for memory care residents.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
