Our community seeks a Care / Medication Technician to join our team. The role involves providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support, maintaining a safe and home-like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a designated group of residents, ensuring their well-being throughout the shift
• Observe, report, and document changes in residents' conditions
• Respond promptly to security and call system alerts
• Notify supervisors of increased care needs
• Assist with continence management and sanitation
• Serve and assist with meals, report any issues
• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas
• Practice hygiene and health precautions
• Support residents' independence, dignity, and safety
• Assist with activities of daily living and life enrichment activities
• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and team members
• Perform resident laundry duties as needed
• Review service plans for resident-specific information
• Assist and observe medication administration, documenting appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality and report concerns to nursing staff
• Restock medications and assist with medication checks
• Participate in medication and service plan updates
• Record vital signs and report occupational exposures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse's Aid preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
• Experience with seniors preferred
