Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Metairie, LA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, clear communication with families, and engagement through activities. Training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team are offered to help you make a difference daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities; support dining and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss in Memory Care.

What We’re Looking For:
