Benefit & Risk Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Care Management Coordinator to support an assigned Medical Care Management Nurse in our California office.

The role involves contacting members, generating case management reports, and coordinating with the reinsurance and client management teams to obtain clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and 2–4 years of medical or insurance experience, with strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of medical or insurance experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to HIPAA policies.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with assigned Medical Care Management Nurse.
• Contact members by phone, mail, or email as directed.
• Generate reports and documents for member case management.
• Liaise between reinsurance, Client Management and Nurse Care Management.
• Obtain clinical documentation from providers as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow internal procedures.
• Review referrals per written criteria and procedures.
• Work independently on tasks within established policies.
