WVU Medicine is seeking a Care Management Support Specialist to assist the Care Management Team in daily operational tasks, coordinate with third-party payors and post-acute providers, and ensure timely documentation in the electronic Care Management System.
Required are a high school diploma and two years of administrative experience, with preferred associates or higher and prior health-care related experience in utilization management, discharge planning, or case management.
This position provides support to the Care Management Team to ensure that the day to day operational functions of the department are met in a timely manner. This position includes collaboration with third party payers as well as post-acute providers. This position will also be responsible for timely and appropriate documentation within the electronic Care Management System.
