WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals seeks a patient care assistant to support RN-led care in Morgantown. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, sampling, and basic rehab tasks while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the unit.
Scheduled weekly hours are 36, with non-exempt status. The role offers exposure to a busy hospital setting at WVUH in Morgantown, WV. Training in BLS/First Aid is required within 30 days of hire.
Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. Assists in providing high quality, cost-effective care by performing delegated tasks. Proactively interacts with patients families and other customers to ensure a family centered experience
