You will uphold safety culture, participate in ongoing professional development, maintain certifications including BLS, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while potentially floating to other units as needed.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical IT tools.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and appropriate delegation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Provide care appropriate to age-specific needs across the lifespan.
