Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Frederick, MD is seeking a compassionate Care Giver to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, promoting a safe, home-like environment. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting residents' independence while upholding dignity and safety.

CNA preferred; HS diploma required; must be 18+; prior senior-care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Effective communication with residents, management and co-workers.
• Strong customer service and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
