Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and ensure a sanitary environment while providing friendly service to residents and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
