Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following the facility's standards.

This role emphasizes infection control, safety, and excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required, and candidates must meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues to the supervisor.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
