Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a diligent Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, handle sanitation procedures, and interact with residents and staff to provide excellent service.

The position requires a high school diploma, energy for routine tasks, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, and COVID-19 vaccination policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
