Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning, follow infection control guidelines, and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or acceptable.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow safety, infection control and cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks: clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure sanitation and cleaning procedures are followed per guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues to a supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests while delivering good service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
