Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe spaces in a long-term care facility. You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a positive attitude with strong communication for interaction with residents and staff. Physical stamina is essential to perform routine cleaning tasks daily.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
