Job description

Immediate need for a talented Care Coordinator III. This is a 3-6+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential, located remotely in SC. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range: $17 - $18/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift: 8AM-5PM EST
  • Team culture: Close-knit team environment in a remote setting
  • Part of the Quality Improvement Team
  • Make outbound calls to members to provide health reminders and encourage appointments
  • Focus on Quality Improvement outreach during Summer and Later Summer Surge
  • Work schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with two 20-minute paid breaks and a 60-minute unpaid lunch
  • Daily tasks include email and chat communications
  • Interaction level: Close team collaboration in a remote setting

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Skills: Call center, customer service, outbound calling, HEDIS, STARS, CAHPS, NCQA, Medicare, Medicaid, Care Coordination
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a call center, preferably healthcare-related
  • Nice to have: Experience with HEDIS, STARS, CAHPS, NCQA, Medicare, Medicaid
  • Disqualifiers: Lack of professionalism, unpreparedness for interviews, frequent job hopping, inability to answer questions properly
  • Performance metrics: Make 70 calls/day (approx. 10 per hour), maintain a 99.5% quality score, adhere to attendance policies
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication, professional phone presence
