What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Receive and manage incoming calls from members regarding benefit inquiries and care coordination
  • Accurately document calls in the designated PHI system
  • Manage an assigned caseload of members requiring short-term care coordination
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to address member needs and improve outcomes
  • Perform outreach calls to ensure services are effectively in place
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or relevant medical training/experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in effective verbal and written communication, demonstrating good grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Associate’s degree
  • Prior experience in a call center, care management, or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and Medicaid & Child Health Plus benefit products
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
