Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Care Coordinator to own patient cases from initiation to closure, including benefit investigations and prior authorizations, while assisting patients and prescribers via email and phone using our Lynk system.

You will triage inquiries, coordinate resources, and document all activities per SOPs. The role requires attention to detail, professional communication, and a patient-centered approach, with remote eligibility as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish and English a plus.
  • Healthcare/customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work remote eligibility criteria as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Owns patient cases from initiation to closure, including benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
  • Assist patients and stakeholders via email and calls using Lynk technology.
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls and triage to resources.
  • Coordinate shipments through patient assistance program and bridge programs.
  • Document all activities in Lynk per SOPs and maintain data quality.

To learn more about Valeris, please visit www.valeris.com.The 11:30 AM - 8 PM ET shift is required for this role.A typical day in the Care Coordinator role will include ownership of your patients cases from initiation to closure to include; benefit investigations, prior authorizations / denial appeals, determining financial qualifications for assistance programs and assisting patients or other callers/stakeholders through resolution (via email, inbound/outbound calls and using our patented technology, Lynk) by using your critical thinking skills and your knowledge of the program and industry rules and standards.
