Retirement Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Care Companion to join our resort-style senior living community in Virginia. You will provide warm companionship, assist with daily living activities, and support engaging programs that enrich residents’ daily lives.

Your role centers on building meaningful connections, delivering respectful care, and collaborating with the clinical team to maintain residents’ comfort and happiness each day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care support and warm companionship to residents.
• Encourage participation in community programs, activities, and social engagement.
• Offer meaningful one-on-one interaction to enhance residents’ emotional well-being.
• Assist in planning and supporting activity programs for residents.
• Prepare and serve snacks or meals according to instructions.
• Communicate any changes or concerns to the clinical team to support resident care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed by the care plan or clinical team.
