Job summary

Bethany St. Joseph Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Onalaska Care Center in Onalaska, WI to perform preventive and routine maintenance across facilities.

The role includes basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs to keep buildings and equipment in good condition. The position offers on-site work with on-call weekend rotation, opportunities to work with a dedicated team, and a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience preferred, on-the-job training provided.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Physically capable of performing duties inside and outside the building.
• Maintain safety and compliance with life-safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Maintain fire safety systems, alarms, extinguishers, and generators; conduct inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor service quality and cost.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities.
