Job summary

Riverside Healthcare is seeking a Care Associate/Care Tech to provide clinical and administrative support in a physician office setting. Responsibilities include injections, venipuncture, patient check-in, EMR data entry, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Role requires flexibility within scope of licensure, with a typical 8:00am-4:30pm shift and on-site responsibilities at Riverside Healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance and authorization processes is helpful.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcutaneous injections and venipuncture as directed.
• Assist with medical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform pulmonary function tests, EKGs, and related tasks as applicable.
• Document clinical data accurately in EMRs and follow up on results.
• Register patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
