Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation's Gorham House memory care unit is seeking a Care Associate/PSS for the DAY SHIFT (6:30AM–3PM), full-time, 40 hours weekly. You will provide companionship and support to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and help lead activities within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia including participation in activities is preferred.
• Proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergencies is required.
• A CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word are required.

Care Associate/PSS - Memory Care (DAY SHIFT)

• Compensation: USD 19.00 - USD 22.00 - hourly

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Day Shifts (6:30AM to 3PM), 40 hours/week

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one on one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
