Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking dedicated caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily living activities and companionship. You will support residents in bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, while ensuring safety and dignity.

Shift is evenings, 2:30 PM to 11 PM, totaling 32 hours per week with weekend requirements. You will help with medication reminders, document care logs, and communicate any concerns to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency to communicate with staff and residents.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide reminders for medications and escort residents as needed.
• Follow supervisor-directed schedules and resident needs.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily care logs and report concerns to supervisor.
• Respect residents' independence, confidentiality and dignity.

Job description

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Evening shift (2:30PM to 11PM), 32 hours/week, and weekends required.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
