Senior Lifestyle’s Addington Place of Clarkston is seeking a Care Associate/CNA to assist residents in our Assisted Living program. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include ADLs, medication reminders, and providing emotional and social support.

Interviews are open Mon-Fri 10AM-2PM. Ideal candidates have at least one year in senior care, solid English communication, basic computer skills, and a compassionate, team-oriented

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency sufficient to perform duties and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, kindness, engagement, empathy and helpfulness.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to support independence and dignity.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other ADLs as needed.
• Follow the resident schedule set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents.

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• All shifts; 8 hours & 12 hours
• Open Interviews Mondays-Fridays; 10AM-2PM
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
