Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Care Associate/CNA for the Assisted Living program at North Shore Place. This part-time role covers morning and evening shifts, helping residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity and independence in a warm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and documenting daily care.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in senior care or related field.
• Proficient English communication for daily interactions and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state regulations.
• Basic computer use for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow supervisor's schedule and resident needs.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily care in logs and reports.
• Inform supervisor of resident issues or concerns.
• Respect residents’ independence and dignity.

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

Qualifications

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
