Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking caregivers in Illinois to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily activities and dignity-maintaining care. You will support residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming and mobility while documenting care and communicating with supervisors.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in senior care, English proficiency, and possibly a CNA/CHHA license depending on state. Strong empathy, teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in senior care.
• Proficient in English to communicate with residents and staff.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Compassionate, professional and engaging.
• Able to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the resident-specific schedule set by a supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily logs of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect residents’ independence and confidentiality.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.

• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
