What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting patients and staff with inquiries and appointment scheduling
- Verify and ensure accuracy of key patient information for safety and billing purposes
- Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments, managing cancellations and rescheduling as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing referrals for multiple clinics in accordance with established policies
- Respond to patient messages and manage clinic communications effectively

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of customer service and/or clerical experience
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
- Ability to collaborate as a team player and adapt to changes for continuous improvement
- Proficiency in using telecommunication systems and electronic health record software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or patient access role
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated ability to precept and train new co-workers
- Knowledge of referral management processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
