Job summary

CardVault by Tom Brady is hiring a part-time Retail Associate to join our first-of-its-kind store experience. You will greet customers, assess needs, handle payments, and help guests find the best collectibles.

You will aim to meet sales goals, upsell promotions, promote CardVault positively, and keep the store clean and stocked. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required to serve our community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant retail, trading or sports industry experience.
• High school Diploma/GED.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and guest communication skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales and guest service standards.
• Comfortable working with the public and basic computer skills.
• Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move around the store.
• Understanding of retail metrics and KPIs to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage as they enter the store, assess needs and propose solutions.
• Handle cash and process payments using the register.
• Set and strive to achieve sales goals and promote promotions.
• Use upselling techniques to increase store sales.
• Promote CardVault in a positive, professional manner and advise on products.
• Restock and clean the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• A general comprehensive knowledge of and/or passion for trading cards
• Minimum of one-year of relevant retail, trading or sports industry-related experience required
• High school Diploma/GED
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
• Must have the ability to meet or exceed sales, guest service standards
• Must be comfortable working and speaking with the publicMust have basic computer skills
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and ability lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Clear understanding of retail metrics including key performance indicators necessary to drive sales

• Non-typical office hours will be customary for this part-time position including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Three days of availability to work are required and Sunday availability is a must
