Position Overview

As a Retail Associate, your typical day may include:

1. Welcoming and engaging with customers upon entry
2. Assessing customer needs and offering solutions
3. Handling cash transactions and operating registers
4. Setting and achieving sales goals
5. Providing information on sales and promotions
6. Using upselling techniques to boost sales
7. Promoting CardVault positively and professionally
8. Recommending suitable products to customers
9. Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening, and after closing
10. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

You might be a good fit if you:

• Have a passion for trading cards or a general knowledge of trading cards
• Possess at least one year of relevant retail, trading, or sports industry experience
• Have a high school Diploma/GED
• Are organized, communicative, and personable
• Can meet or exceed sales and guest service standards
• Are comfortable communicating with the public
• Have basic computer skills
• Can work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Can maneuver around the sales floor and lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Understand retail metrics and KPIs to drive sales

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires:

• Lifting or moving up to 30 lbs using proper techniques
• Long hours on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least three days of availability including Sundays
