Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This night, full-time role requires active RN licensure in Florida and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire: American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from Florida Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure at hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following clinical standards and protocols.
• Proactively monitor patient status and document progress to optimize outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated treatment.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately as a key clinical link.
• Lead discharge planning in collaboration with the health-care team to ensure safe transitions.
