Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to provide high-quality patient care in our Pediatric Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Labs. You will be responsible for performing and recording diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring the maintenance of medical equipment. Candidates must possess relevant degrees and certifications, with a strong focus on professional patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) if holding an AS Degree in Cardiovascular Technology.
• Possess Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration if holding an AS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications required.

Overview

Provides appropriate patient care in the Pediatric Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Labs. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for pediatric and adult interventional, heart failure, pulmonary, and electrophysiology services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program OR AS Degree from accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purposeLicensure/Certification/Registration:If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is the preferred registration.Current ACLS/BLS.
